Two weeks ago, I finished my first three-month internship at a small communications company. At first, I was very shy. However, my team quickly gave me real responsibilities: I wrote articles for the website, prepared meetings and even presented a project to a client. Thanks to this internship, I learned to manage my time, to work in a team and to accept criticism. I also understood that school does not always show the reality of the job. My advice to students is simple: start your search very early, at least four months in advance, and send personalised applications. Above all, do not be afraid to ask questions during the internship. It is the best way to progress and to leave a good impression.
