English
For one month, I was a volunteer every Saturday morning at my neighbourhood's food bank. My job consisted of sorting the products received, preparing baskets and welcoming families. At first, I was tired, but I quickly understood the importance of this help. A mother thanked me with a big smile because her children were going to eat properly that week. I find it essential that young people get involved in this type of project. On the one hand, they discover the social reality of their city. On the other hand, they learn solidarity and teamwork, values that no course can truly teach. In conclusion, giving a few hours of your time costs almost nothing, but it changes a lot for others. I invite you to try it.
