English

On Saturday morning, about fifty residents met at Linden Park to clean it. Equipped with gloves and big bags, we picked up bottles, packaging and even an old broken bicycle. In two hours, we filled more than thirty bags. The children were the most motivated and searched for the rubbish hidden in the grass. This experience showed me that every citizen can act. There is no need to wait for government decisions: you can sort your waste, bring a reusable bag or pick up a piece of paper from the ground when you go for a walk. These small gestures seem unimportant, but they change the image of a neighbourhood. That is why I invite you to take part in the next cleaning morning, which will take place in November.
