For a year, I have been working from home three days a week. My day starts at eight o'clock in front of the computer, with a coffee and without the stress of public transport. I take part in meetings by video conference and I finish my files more calmly than at the office. On the one hand, remote work offers real advantages: I save almost two hours of commuting a day, I concentrate better and I am more available for my family. On the other hand, there are drawbacks. I see my colleagues less, spontaneous exchanges disappear and it is sometimes difficult to stop working in the evening. In my opinion, the best long-term solution is a mixed system. Two or three days at the office allow you to keep in touch with the team, whereas working at home brings comfort.
