Last weekend, the city hosted its annual music festival, and I went with two colleagues. On the main stage, local and international bands took turns over three days. My favourite moment was the closing concert: thousands of people were singing together under the lights, and the atmosphere was magical. Despite the crowd, everything was well organised, and I also enjoyed the great variety of musical styles. For me, festivals greatly improve a city's image. They attract tourists, who sleep in hotels and eat in restaurants, which benefits shopkeepers. They also give young artists the opportunity to become known. Of course, the noise can bother some residents. However, with respected schedules, I believe the overall result remains very positive.
