Je repartirai l'an prochain.

In July, I spent a week on a family farm in Gaspésie with my two children. Every morning, we fed the hens, picked strawberries and helped the farmer feed the goats. The children, used to screens, happily discovered the life of animals. In the evening, we ate produce from the garden at a big wooden table. For me, holidays in the countryside are a very good alternative to holidays at the sea or in the city. They cost less, you breathe fresh air and you sleep deeply thanks to the calm. Besides, children learn where food comes from. There is no beach or museum, but this simplicity is exactly what we needed. I will go back next year.
