- Start with a direct answer (who is in your family), then add one detail or a short anecdote for each person you mention.
- Use the present for descriptions (il travaille, elle habite) and the passé composé for one concrete memory (le mois dernier, nous avons fêté...).
- Avoid a list of names and ages only: add what you do together or what you like about them to fill your two minutes.
- Use possessives correctly: mon père, ma mère, mes parents; remember that ma becomes mon before a vowel (mon amie).

English
In my family there are five of us: my parents, my older brother, my little sister and me. My father is an engineer and my mother works in a school. We are very close, even though my brother now lives in another city. In general, we get together on Sundays to have lunch. My mother always prepares a big meal and we talk for hours. Last month we celebrated my sister's birthday and everybody came. It was really a pleasant moment. I get along very well with my parents because they have always supported me in my choices. Later, I would like to have a family as close-knit as mine.
