English

To go to work, I take the subway every day. The trip lasts about thirty-five minutes, which is reasonable. I have a monthly pass, so I spend less than if I used a car. The subway is also faster than the bus, especially at rush hour, because there are no traffic jams. On the other hand, there are sometimes many people and it is rather tiring. On weekends I prefer to get around by bike or on foot to enjoy the good weather. Last week there was a breakdown on my line and I arrived late for a meeting. Despite that, I find that public transport is a good choice for the environment.
