- Describe your relations in general (bons rapports, on se salue), then give one precise anecdote.
- Use the passé composé for a specific favor or incident and the present for habits.
- Do not name anyone: say un voisin du troisième, la dame d'à côté, une famille sympathique.
- Mention one possible inconvenience (le bruit, les poubelles) and how you handle it politely.

English
I have good relations with my neighbors. We always greet each other on the stairs and sometimes chat on the landing. Above my place there is a family with two children, and next door a very kind elderly lady. When I go on vacation, she waters my plants, and in return I help her carry her groceries. Last year I lost my keys and a neighbor lent me his phone, then offered me tea while I waited for the locksmith. It was really generous. The only drawback is the noise: sometimes the children play late in the evening. But I prefer to talk about it calmly rather than get angry. For me, good neighborly relations make life more pleasant.
