English

I have been studying French for a year and a half. My mother tongue is not French, but I also speak English, and that is useful for learning another language. I take a class twice a week, and every day I practice with an app and watch a series in French with subtitles. For me, the hardest thing is pronunciation, especially nasal vowels, and sometimes grammar, for example past tenses. But I have made a lot of progress since the start. Recently I managed to talk for twenty minutes with a French-speaking person without using English, and I was very happy. My goal is to speak fluently so I can work and live in Canada.
