My family lives far from me, so communication is very important. I call my parents at least twice a week, usually on Sunday and one evening during the week. We make a video call, so I can see their faces and the house. With my brother and sister, we have a message group where we share photos and jokes almost every day. Because of the time difference, we have to choose the right moment, sometimes very early in the morning for me. Last month I forgot my mother's birthday, and I was ashamed, but I sent her a long message and called the next day. The distance is hard, but these exchanges help me stay close to everyone.
